Global market analysts drew attention to the fact that in the first fourteen days of July 2019, Brazilian suppliers significantly reduced the shipment of soybeans to foreign customers.
It is known for certain that the export of products fell to three million four hundred and sixty thousand tons. For clarity, it should be noted that a year earlier, in the first two weeks of July 2018, Brazil sent five million two hundred eighty thousand tons of soybeans to the foreign market.
It will not be amiss to note that in July of this year, Brazil's exports of soybean meal decreased to sixty-five thousand tons (eighty-three thousand tons were shipped in July 2018). And shipments of soybean oil decreased to thirty-nine thousand tons against last year's figure of seventy-seven thousand tons.
All this, market analysts are convinced, suggests that the rate of soybean processing is significantly reduced in Brazil.
It is important to add that between January and June of this year, the export volume of soybeans grown by Brazilian farmers amounted to forty-four and a half million tons. But a year ago, the country sent forty-six million three hundred thousand tons to the market.
Experts suggest that in 2019 the total volume of shipments of soy products from Brazil may drop to seventy million six hundred thousand tons. It is noteworthy that a year earlier, Brazilian suppliers sent a record number of soybeans to the world market - over eighty-three million six hundred thousand tons.
