New centrifuges for sugar crystallization significantly increase the amount of product output.Modernization takes place in several workshops at once. “First of all, we are talking about the grocery and beet processing department. In particular, for the latter, instead of morally and physically worn-out equipment for cleaning conveyor water, we purchased innovative German filters, ”said Roman Kovalchuk, chief engineer of the Shepetovka sugar factory.
Also, according to him, a contract was signed for the purchase of modern beet slicers. “We plan that we will use new production facilities in September 2019 during the new sugar season,” said Roman Kovalchuk.The update also affected the local thermal power station: the thermal power plant will receive a new cooling system for the steam turbine. Thus, it is planned to halve energy costs and provide a greater level of security through automation.
