On April 25 and 26 of this year, innovative centers of veterinary support began to function in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions.
Their opening took place thanks to the cooperation between the Association of Dairy Producers of Ukraine and the USAID project "Support to Agricultural and Rural Development", the press service of the APM said.
In the east of Ukraine, before the opening of the veterinary service centers, the lack of qualified personnel and high-quality veterinary services was most noticeable. Last year, a decision was made to help these regions, said APM Vice President Anna Lavrenyuk.Freshly baked veterinary service centers are concentrated on the territory of AF Slobozhanskaya LLC and AF Rassvet LLC. At the same time, CVO-Lugansk and CVO-Donetsk will be engaged in servicing the adjacent areas of the Poltava, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya regions.
AVM has already held two workshops entitled "Ensuring the quality and safety of milk at all stages of production." The very first veterinary care center was opened in Cherkasy region in 2015.Since then, a whole network of ten such centers has emerged in Khmelnitsky, Cherkasy, Rivne, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Lugansk regions and in the south of Ukraine.
