After two weeks of skyrocketing pig prices for slaughter conditions, a relative "calm" is observed in the Ukrainian market.
The Association of "Meat Industries" (AMO) reported that at week 25 livestock prices fell by an average of 37 kopecks - from 48.1 UAH / kg last week to 47.73 UAH / kg.
In the Association “Pig Breeders of Ukraine” the average price is 47.5 UAH / kg of pigs in live weight.
“According to the data obtained, the average price for the purchase of pork for 25 weeks was 47.73 UAH / kg of live weight. Members of the Ukrainian Pig Breeders Association report that the corresponding price was 47.50 UAH / kg.
In the US live pork market, the price this week dropped a few cents to $ 58.11, or $ 1.28 / kg live weight. The German stock exchange has not changed and is at around 1.35 euros / kg, ”said the Association of the Meat Industry.
Next week, AMO analysts predict a gradual increase in the cost of live bait. It is assumed that prices will range from 45 to 48.5 UAH per kilogram.
Earlier it was reported that Agroholding KSG Agro plans to increase the number of farmed pigs from the existing 60 thousand to 100 thousand heads. KSG Agro is the largest agricultural holding in Ukraine. The main activity of the company is the production of pork and the cultivation of crops.
