Weak universities with low rates in the near future have every chance of becoming a part of the leading Russian universities that will save low-ranking "brothers" from closure.

This information was published by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ivan Lebedev. According to him, he and his colleagues carefully analyzed the current situation in the field of agricultural education in Russia and came to the conclusion that it is necessary to take a new approach to solving some problems. "The rating of agricultural institutions is determined according to 18 factors approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation," said Lebedev . - Not all agricultural universities demonstrate high rates. Previously, we would simply close such universities and dismiss the staff, but today a humane and modern approach is more relevant! ”

In the near future, three basic groups will be formed, according to which some universities will produce exclusively bachelors, others will focus on applied science, and others will take on the full cycle of higher education.

Universities with the lowest ratings are most likely to become branches of larger educational institutions, and the staff of weak universities will be disbanded according to the personnel reshuffle procedure.
