The authorities of the Russian Federation intend to allocate an impressive amount from the state budget for the support and development of agriculture and farming in the country.

Material assistance will be implemented over the course of several years as part of the federal program for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the country and support for individual entrepreneurship in the Russian Federation.

Financial transfers from the state budget will be distributed between 83 subjects of economic and entrepreneurial activity during the period from the current year to 2021. In total, farmers and individual entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector will receive assistance in the total amount of about 13.82 billion rubles.

It is reported that this year, the project will allocate about 5.4 billion rubles, next year - at least 3.8 billion rubles, and in 2021 - a little more than 4.6 billion rubles.

With this money, beginner and experienced Russian entrepreneurs, farmers, pastoralists, etc. will create and develop their farms. Also, the costs of agricultural cooperatives will be reimbursed from these funds.

It will not be superfluous to note that the decision to subsidize farmers and entrepreneurs was made as part of the implementation of the program “Creating a system for supporting farmers and developing rural cooperation”. Over the next five years, the authorities of the Russian Federation intend to attract at least 126 thousand people to small and medium enterprises in the field of domestic agriculture.
