In the Tyumen region recently opened a plant for deep processing of potatoes, built by the local agricultural firm "KRiMM". The opening ceremony of the enterprise was held with the participation of State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Ivan Lebedev, the press service of the Federal Agrarian Department said.
KRiMM invested over 1.1 billion rubles in the facility. Of these, 633.9 million rubles were funds from the budget.
According to Ivan Lebedev, when the enterprise reaches its design capacity, it will produce about 17 thousand tons of the finished product annually. Moreover, its maximum productivity is much greater - it is designed to process about 30 thousand tons of potatoes per year.
Thanks to the use of Fresh cut technology, which is new for the Russian Federation, buyers receive purified pasteurized products in raw form. It is delivered to the consumer in vacuum packaging, in which it can be stored for up to 3 months.
The agricultural company plans to conclude an agreement on exporting the product to the CIS and selling seeds to other Russian enterprises.
Ivan Lebedev emphasized that state support, namely, privileges in lending to farmers and reimbursement of direct costs incurred, is an excellent financial tool that contributes to the development of the agricultural sector of the Russian Federation.
