Such notorious organisms as salmonella were found during the next raid of Rospostrebnadzor among the products of the Yanta-Ulan-Ude-Rosnitsa enterprise in Buryatia.

Salmonella was “decorated” with chicken meat products that the Angarsk Poultry Factory supplies to the market. Almost half of the 84 samples taken were found unfit for food due to the presence of salmonella.

Law enforcement officials opened criminal proceedings against producers of infected meat. Products have been withdrawn from circulation and are subject to destruction.

Employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor appeal to Russian consumers with a request to be careful when choosing meat products and to purchase goods only at proven points of sale, equipped with certificates of quality and compliance with state standards.
