Very soon, in August of this year, a significant event will be held in the Istra city district (Moscow region) for all Russian cheese producers.
We are talking about the Cheese Festival, which during the period from August 9 to August 11, 2019 will bring together more than three hundred cheese makers from all over the Russian Federation. This information was shared with the public by the press center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food near Moscow.
As the head of the department, Andrei Razin, notes, no one else holds such large-scale cheese festivals in Russia. And traditionally, every year leading and talented cheese makers from forty regions of the country gather in the Moscow region to present their achievements to the public - high-quality cheeses made according to old and original recipes.
It is noteworthy that in addition to tasting and buying various cheeses during the festival, it will be possible to get acquainted with the unique equipment for cheese makers from domestic manufacturers and purchase the necessary equipment at a fair price.
It is known that the festival venue will be located in the village of Dubrovskoye, based on the cheese factory of the Istrian producer Oleg Sirota.
It is important to note that in addition to the extraordinary variety of cheeses at the festival, it will also be possible to taste and purchase sausages, bakery and confectionery products from Russian manufacturers, as well as honey, ciders, teas, fruit drinks, kvass and other high-quality goods at an affordable price.
