The organization of the annual honey festival is one of the priority tasks of beekeepers of the Republic of Bashkiria. This was announced by the acting vice-premier of the regional government, the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.

As part of the First Regional Congress of Beekeepers, which took place in the capital of the Republic of Ufa, he noted that this year such a festival would be held in the fall.

The estimated date is the first decade of September 2019. The venue in front of the Ufa city council building is seriously considered as the venue for the event. Fazrakhmanov added that it would be great to organize a festival like “Dairy Country”, which combines both a holiday program for beekeepers and thematic exhibitions, tastings and games for young guests festival.

Also, the Minister of Agriculture of Bashkiria noted that in the near future in the republic will be held the World Congress of beekeepers under the name "Apimondia-2021". According to the presidential administration of the National Union of Beekeepers, this event will be held on the basis of the Toratau Congress Hall in Ufa. This holiday also involves holding a concert program and an exhibition with the participation of leading beekeepers of the Republic of Bashkiria.
