Kuzminchuk PE from the Zhytomyr region this year plans to expand the line of vegetable crops and introduce the production of Beijing cabbage on an industrial scale.
In addition, the company intends to allocate more land for growing broccoli and cauliflower.
The farm is processing 110 hectares of leased land on which vegetables are grown, as well as grain and industrial crops. Among vegetables, the farmer prefers white cabbage, but also cultivates sweet peppers, broccoli and cauliflower.
The total area of land allotted to the farm for vegetables is 20%. They are grown only from cluster seedlings in film greenhouses with an area of 5 thousand m². After seedlings, tomatoes grow in greenhouses.
For information, Beijing cabbage comes from China. Now it is widely cultivated in Korea and Japan.
