The end of spring and the beginning of summer of this year were marked for the company “OKA-Milk”, whose assets are located in the Chuchkovsky and Pitelinsky districts of the Ryazan region, a truly historical event.
The fact is that over the indicated period two hundred thousand eight hundred and forty individuals of the Holstein cattle arrived here. Heifers came to Ryazan stalls from Denmark, Holland, as well as from German farms.
And today, all guests are in quarantine conditions, in accordance with the regulations established by the sanitary and veterinary supervision authorities of the Russian Federation.
It is known that all cows are distributed between the farms of such complexes as Podbolotye and Nesterovo (Pitelinksy district), as well as on the first isolated farm in the Chuchkovsky district. However, at the end of the quarantine regime, all heifers will be transferred to the stalls of the fourth cattle-breeding separate farm in the Shatsky region.
It should be noted that the OKA-Milk enterprise is part of the EkoNiva holding. Last year, each cow of the enterprise on average allowed to milk about ten and a half thousand kilograms of milk.
