Marty's, a new range of snacks and treats for non-allergenic children, will go on sale at Ocado's English online supermarket and select independent stores later this year.
Danone, a global food and beverage company, is set to launch an exciting new brand, Marty's, an allergy-friendly children's snack and treat.
Created in conjunction with families with food allergies, Marty's will launch online sales in Okado and in selected independent retail stores by the end of this year. The first innovation proposed by the co-authors will be Marty's Popped Crispy Chickpea Chips, in 20 gram packaging at a suggested retail price of 75 pence.
Marty's Popped crispy chips do not contain eggs, peanuts and gluten, and will be available in the form of cheese and onions, barbecue and prepared salty flavors. Marty's plans in the coming months to significantly expand the range of products on offer.
Tanya Pitchforth, founder of this project at Danone, said: “While listening and talking with parents and children, we understand that the demand for a wider selection of allergen-free products is growing. Together with some wonderful families, we created Marty's - a set of refreshments designed for allergy sufferers, inclusive and helping everyone to enjoy peace and pleasure. ”
