During the monitoring of farmers in the North of Ukraine, which was carried out by analysts of the Information Agency “Infoindustriya”, optimistic results were obtained. Agrarians said that most of their crops were not affected by heavy rains this week.
Most farmers in the northern regions of the country noted that precipitation in the form of rain did not damage the crops. At the same time, the respondents said that today the state of crops is assessed as good and satisfactory.
Winter wheat developed until the end of tillering and exit into the tube. Winter rape is at the stage of stalking and budding. Sunflower and late spring crops gave the first shoots. A large number of farmers noted that precipitation did not affect the sowing campaign. But some respondents said they had to suspend sowing.Today's weather conditions can have a beneficial effect on the development and spread of diseases on crops, which means the need to increase the number of field treatments with fungicides.
Earlier it was reported that a number of landowners from the western regions of Ukraine indicated serious losses from the vagaries of the weather. Sown areas of some farmers were flooded, crops affected by hail. Some agricultural enterprises said they would be forced to reseed as soon as the weather was good.
