The beekeepers of the Shumsky district of the Ternopil region accuse local farmers of the mass death of bees due to poisoning. To protect insects from death, they blocked the work of irrigation equipment in the fields.

This time, thanks to public disclosure and ordinary people who came to the aid of the beekeepers, they managed to block the spraying of the fields for the whole day. People just went under the wheels of a tractor, beekeepers write in social networks.

According to local residents of the Shumsky district, an agronomist at a local farm announced that he would continue to cultivate the fields at a convenient time for him.

“Please, if you see huge cars or a tractor for spraying in the daytime from 10:00 to 18:00, notify the beekeepers that you know personally or through acquaintances,” beekeepers of indifferent countrymen ask on social networks.

Residents of the Shumsky district of the Ternopil region annually contact the police about the death of bees from the uncontrolled use of chemicals by farmers in the region.

Earlier it was reported about many cases of mass death of bees throughout Ukraine due to poisoning by chemicals in the fields. Beekeepers of the Poltava region even promised to avenge negligent farmers for dead insects.
