Her initial batch weighing 2 tons, shipped to the PRC a few weeks earlier, can be called a trial one.On June 27, a full-fledged consignment of sweet cherry weighing 10 tons was dispatched from Kiev, said Alexey Penkauskas, CEO of the company.
This morning, June 28, Ukrainian sweet cherries will arrive in China. She will arrive by Turkish Cargo, a division of Turkish Airlines' cargo transport.
It is planned to ship the same volumes of berries through the Borispol airport to China three times a week for three months.
According to Alexey Penkauskas, the supply of domestic sweet cherries from Ukraine to the People's Republic of China in 2019 was made for the first time. Before, the berry for the Chinese consumer was mainly supplied from countries such as Chile and Turkey.
