Narrow-profile smart-collars designed specifically for cows were purchased by Kuban farmers of the Kukharivskaya agricultural enterprise, which is located in the Yeisk district of the Kuban. Innovative sensors allow farmers to monitor the activity of cows.
Farmers will receive information on activity thanks to special sensors with which collars are equipped.
“All the data online goes to the computers of our specialists,” the Kukharivskaya administration notes. “Thus, we can monitor our animals around the clock, analyze their behavior and timely record changes in the health status of our livestock!”

The management of Pokrovsky expects that thanks to smart collars, they will be able to increase the volume of milk yield and, thereby, will bring milk productivity to a new level.
“The Kukharivskaya experience is, so to speak, an experiment,” they say in the holding. “Depending on what results we get from these 50 cows, it will be decided whether we continue the project or look for new ways to improve the quality and quantity of production.”
