The Agrovesna berry cluster from the Kiev region announced the imminent opening of the second phase of the refrigerator. This was announced by Oleg Lysokon, Commercial Director of the Agrovesna-market distribution company, which is part of the cluster, during the International Conference “Berries of Ukraine: Freezing and Fresh Market”.
The total volume of storage chambers of the refrigerator is about 20 tons, and its area is approximately 250 m², he noted. The previous refrigeration equipment worked at the enterprise for about six years, said Oleg Lysokon.
In addition, in a month, Agrovesna plans to launch its own freezing with a throughput of about 6 tons. “Freezing is not an added value, but an opportunity to preserve products and increase the season,” Oleg Lysokon specified.The berry cluster plans to use freezing both for its own needs and to provide services to other companies.
