Another region of the Amur Region became a victim of the African swine fever virus.
Such information was shared by representatives of the public relations department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. In particular, the department noted that the local resident was the source of information about the attack of Amur pigs by the plague.
A woman living in the village of Astashikha, located in the Bureyskiy district, stated that three dozen animals from two farms were infected with the virus in the village.
In particular, the applicant’s livestock also attacked the infection, sending seven adult pigs into the world. In addition, of their three dozen young animals, only eighteen piglets survived.
The information provided by a resident of Astashikhi was soon confirmed by employees of the Main Directorate of Veterinary and Breeding Livestock of the Amur Region. In particular, the agency said that the data on the spread of ASF are reliable and require an immediate response.
Therefore, today in the Bureysk region there is a quarantine regime. Preventive measures are actively taken, the area is equipped with disinfection barriers and posts with authorized control officers.
